We left you fresh from the wilds of America, at the end of the summer. Epic road trip over and a weird 20th birthday past, came upon a new school year and Lucy Dagger enrolled in school, was in a play, fell in love with a teacher (of course), made some new friends, and was as busy as a bee that is really busy as well as being happy as a clam that is really happy. Dorris Deadbones moved (again), got a real job teaching, and got a seasonal job to spend more time with snotty kids and their snooty and sometimes very attractive parents for the holiday season, completed many a project (knitting, leather, paper stuff), and got a car that is teaching her how to drive. (Sister is back in town for a bit!)
Then the whole holiday thing happened. It was fun for both of us even though we mostly spent it apart…weird. An old friend came back into town and Lucy Dagger spent the majority of her time with her schedule flipped on its head, smoking a pack a day, drinking gallons of coffee at a time, procured a snort, and being an all around class act. During that time Dorris Deadbones had an inappropriate crush and quickly threw it over board. She worked three jobs until suddenly they all ended (or went on break) within the same week. She got bored started new art projects that are currently sitting, waiting, and wanting to be finished and put up for sale on etsy.com (look for her shop in the coming months!).
We welcomed a dear friend home from 3 months of marine boot camp, only to say a reluctant goodbye on the all to soon date of TOMORROW. This time his absence stretches from 6 months to year.
